Item #438. Cats in Hand (May 23, 1952)
These three little kittens were born in a box car somewhere between Los
Angeles and New York.
Nestled in a sofa shipped in a crate, the kittens were discovered by workers
at the Engel's Furniture Warehouse
at 29 Glenmore Ave, Brooklyn. The next day the three made the front page of
the New York Herald Tribune.
